What
I Do for Lilly
I'm involved in sales and marketing compliance
outside the U.S. I provide guidance and
resources for outside affiliates to make
sure we implement compliance initiatives—we
meet and exceed our ethical standards in
everything we do from a sales and marketing
perspective.
The Reason I Came
to Lilly
I picked Lilly out of MBA school because
of the people I met and the career the company
offered. I had a financial background, and
I wanted to gain exposure to different areas,
such as marketing and general management.
Few companies provide these diverse working
experiences. I was very impressed with the
people I met; they are diverse and international,
as well as smart and capable people.
Favorite Pastimes
I like all sports in general from soccer
to snowboarding, but while living in Indianapolis
I've been focusing a lot on tennis. It's
a sport that I enjoy playing with my wife
and friends.
How I Have Adjusted
to Life During Moves and Transitions Inside
and Outside the U.S.A.
I went first to Scottsdale, Arizona. Then
I moved to Argentina as part of my contract.
A year and a half ago, I came back to the
U.S. living for the first time in Indianapolis.
It’s been very easy to adjust to life
here. My wife had lived in the U.S. before,
so it wasn’t difficult. Also, in Indianapolis,
everyone knows Lilly.
Ways that Coming
to Work at Lilly Has Exceeded My Expectations
The opportunities provided. The main reason
I came to Lilly was because I believed in
the promise that if you deliver results,
you grow with the company and have various
opportunities. This has even been above
what I was told.
What Steps I Took
to Get Where I Am Today
Being honest even when things are not easy
to say, being persistent, and most importantly,
sticking with what I believe in.
I'm Staying with
Lilly Because...
Because I found the company that has allowed
me to keep growing. This is the right environment
to work with excellent people. That’s
very important to me.
